In Thursday's league battle, the Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Starpoint Spartans (Lockport, NY), by a count of 8-3.

Coming up next, the Tigers clash with the Wilson Lakemen (Wilson, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 2. Amherst Central will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Lakemen come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 9-7 league win over Gowanda (Gowanda, NY).
