March 31, 2023: Morganza, MD 20660 The Calvert Cavaliers baseball team (Prince Frederick, MD), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Friday's league outing with the host Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD)
The Braves now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host McDonough for a non-league outing on Monday, April 3. Chopticon will face a Rams team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Rams record now stands at 0-5.
Next, the Cavaliers face the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a Southern Maryland outing, on Monday, April 3. Calvert will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Chargers enter the outing with a 2-4 record after their 6-5 league win over North Point (Waldorf, MD).
