Spectators at Friday's league battle between the West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) and the visiting Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), saw West Carteret's baseball squad knock off Dixon by a count of 16-6.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 1. West Carteret will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 7-5 record after their 7-1 league win over Havelock (Havelock, NC).
