East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), 21-2 in a league test.

With the win, East Davidson upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC) to battle the Hornets in a Central Carolina 1A/2A test on Tuesday, April 4. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 2-10. Salisbury won 7-1 in their recent league battle against South Davidson (Denton, NC)

The Cavaliers now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Leadership Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, April 3. North Rowan will play a Falcons squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-5.
