Maryland High School Baseball - Lackey nips North Point
March 31, 2023: Indian Head, MD 20640 Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD), 6-5 in a league test.
With the win, Lackey upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to battle the Cavaliers in a Southern Maryland test on Monday, April 3. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 1-4. Calvert lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Chopticon (Morganza, MD)
With the defeat, North Point falls to 2-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to battle the Panthers in a Southern Maryland test on Monday, April 3. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-0. Patuxent won 6-3 in their recent league test against Northern (Owings, MD)
