The Gilbert Christian Knights volleyball team (Gilbert, AZ), was nudged 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ)

The Minotaur (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Coyotes enter the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Combs nipped Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 1. Gilbert Christian will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 2-1 non-league win over St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ).
