Virginia High School Soccer - Saint Gertrude nudges Virginia Episcopal School
March 31, 2023: Lynchburg, VA 24503 Saint Gertrude Gators (Richmond, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Gators confront the Trinity Episcopal Titans (Richmond, VA) in a LIS challenge, on Thursday, April 6. Saint Gertrude will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Fairfax, VA).
The Bishops now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity at Meadow View for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1. Virginia Episcopal School will confront a Tempest team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Tempest record now stands at 3-2.
