In Friday's non-league challenge, the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) baseball squad triumphed over the host Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), by a final score of 10-0.

With the win, Topsail upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Pirates host Laney (Wilmington, NC) to encounter the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Laney won 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC)

With the defeat, Ashley falls to 8-4 on the season. The Screaming eagle travel to North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to encounter the Scorpions in a challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Scorpions come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
