March 31, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87120 St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 16-6 in a league test.
With the win, St. Pius X upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Sartans travel to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 4. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 4-8. Valencia lost 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM)
With the defeat, Grants falls to 5-6 on the season. The Pirates travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 5-2. Bloomfield won 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Taos (Taos, NM)
