Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Lakeland drops to Abington Heights
March 31, 2023: Clarks Summit, PA 18411 Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA), 13-5 in a league battle.
The Comets now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pleasant Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 1. Abington Heights will play a Bears team coming off a 13-7 non-league win over Quakertown (Quakertown, PA). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Lakeland drops to 0-3 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA) to play the Blue Knights in a Wyoming Valley Lacrosse League match on Monday, April 3. The Blue Knights go into the match with a record of 3-0. Wyoming Seminary College Prep won 21-4 in their recent league match against Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA)
