Next, the Bulldogs face the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) in a AA Region 2 contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Newberry will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 7-6 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Aiken (Aiken, SC).
The Tigers now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Dixie for a non-league contest on Monday, April 3. Saluda will face a Hornets team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over McCormick (McCormick, SC). The Hornets record now stands at 9-5.
