Texas High School Softball - Lubbock Christian bounces Mercy Culture Prep
March 31, 2023: Lubbock, TX 79407 Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mercy Culture Prep Royals (Fort Worth, TX), 21-0 in a league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they host Christian Life Preparatory for a TAPPS Division IV District 1 challenge on Saturday, April 1. Lubbock Christian will face a Knights squad coming off a 19-2 league loss to Temple Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Mercy Culture Prep falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Nazarene Christian Academy (Crowley, TX) to face the Lions in a TAPPS Division IV District 1 challenge on Monday, April 3. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Nazarene Christian Academy won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Weatherford Christian (Weatherford, TX)
