Illinois High School Soccer - Elk Grove knocks off Maine West
March 31, 2025: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) and the visiting Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL), saw Elk Grove's soccer squad triumph over Maine West by a score of 7-0.
The Grenadiers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Pirates enter the Mid-Suburban - West battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Palatine tipped Waukegan (Waukegan, IL), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 5. Maine West will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 5-2 league loss to Whitney Young (Chicago, IL).
