Missouri High School Soccer - Van Horn toppled by University Academy Charter
March 31, 2025: Independence, MO 64053 University Academy Charter Gryphons (Kansas City, MO) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Van Horn Falcons (Independence, MO), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, University Academy Charter advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Mid-Buchanan (Faucett, MO) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 1-4.
The Falcons now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Excelsior Springs for a non-league test on Monday, March 31. Van Horn will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Smithville (Smithville, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
