The Pinnacle Pioneers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Higley Knights to 5 in the Pioneers non-league win on Monday.

The Pioneers now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Horizon for a test on Wednesday, April 2. Pinnacle will play a Huskies team coming off a 4-2 league win over Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Higley drops to 2-4 on the year. The Knights host Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ) to play the Jaguars in a test on Tuesday, April 1. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 0-3. Desert Ridge lost 10-4 in their recent league test against Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ)
