The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) and the host Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY), observed Lake Park's softball team get by Boyd County by a tally of 10-5.

The Lancers (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 9-1 record. In their last bout, East Carter tipped Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
