Illinois High School Softball - Riverside-Brookfield edges Evergreen Park
March 31, 2025: Evergreen Park, IL 60805 The Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Evergreen Park Mustangs to 6 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nazareth Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 2. Riverside-Brookfield will confront a Roadrunners team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Evergreen Park moves to 2-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL) to confront the Spartans in a South Suburban battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 4-0. Oak Lawn won 5-3 in their recent non-league battle against Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL)
