March 31, 2025: Greers Ferry, AR 72067 In Monday's non-league test, the West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR) softball squad got by the visiting Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks (Mt. Vernon, AR), by a count of 9-8.
Next, the Eagles meet the Concord Pirates (Concord, AR) in a 1A Region 2 test, on Tuesday, April 1. West Side will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Pirates go into the test with a 8-6 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Fouke (Fouke, AR).
The Warhawks (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Bigelow (Bigelow, AR). The Panthers go into the 2A Region 5 test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Bigelow held off Booneville (Booneville, AR), 5-2, in a non-league test.
