March 31, 2026: Mount Ida, AR 71957 In Tuesday's league game, the host Mount Ida Lions baseball team scored a nice 20-0 win over the Kirby Trojans.
The Lions (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Nevada (Rosston, AR). The Blue Jays go into the 1A Region 7 game with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Nevada was overwhelmed by Blevins (Blevins, AR), 6-4, in a league match.
The Trojans now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centerpoint for a non-league match on Thursday, April 2. Kirby will battle a Knights squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Ashdown (Ashdown, AR). The Knights record now stands at 5-2.
