Illinois High School Baseball - Salt Fork loses to St. Thomas More
March 31, 2026: Champaign, IL 61822 St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL), 12-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, St. Thomas More moves its record to 5-4 on the season. The Sabers travel to Schlarman (Danville, IL) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 1. The Hilltoppers come into the match with a record of 0-3. Schlarman lost 13-9 in their recent non-league match against Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL)
The Storm now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Danville for a non-league match on Thursday, April 2. Salt Fork will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 0-6.
