Alabama High School Baseball - Gadsden City defeats Hoover
April 1, 2022: Hoover, AL 35244 Gadsden City Titans (Gadsden, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL), 9-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Gadsden City upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Titans host Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL) to battle the Huskies in a 7A Area 6 test on Tuesday, April 5. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 20-1. Hewitt-Trussville won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA)
With the defeat, Hoover falls to 19-8 on the season. The Buccaneers host Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, April 2. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 14-7. Mountain Brook won 10-5 in their recent non-league test against Helena (Helena, AL)
