Alabama High School Baseball - Woodland loses to Pleasant Valley
April 1, 2022: Jacksonville, AL 36265 The Pleasant Valley Raiders crushed the visiting Woodland Bobcats baseball team by a tally of 11-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now hold a 6-14 record. They take the field next when they host Glencoe for a 3A Area 11 bout on Monday, April 4. Pleasant Valley will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-12.
Next, the Bobcats face the Winterboro Bulldogs (Alpine, AL) in a 1A Area 7 bout, on Monday, April 4. Woodland will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 9-4 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Loachapoka (Loachapoka, AL).
