Missouri High School Baseball - Pike County nips Christian Brothers
April 1, 2023: St. Louis, MO 63141 Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Christian Brothers Cadets (St. Louis, MO), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pike County upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Pirates host Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A Area 2 test on Tuesday, April 4. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 14-7. Mary Persons won 11-8 in their recent league test against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA)
With the defeat, Christian Brothers falls to 7-5 on the season. The Cadets travel to Parkway West (Ballwin, MO) to battle the Longhorns in a non-league test on Monday, April 3. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 0-2. Parkway West lost 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Liberty (Lake St. Louis, MO)
