South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC), 9-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Johnston upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Trojans travel to West Johnston (Benson, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a Quad County 3A test on Tuesday, April 11. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 8-3. West Johnston won 6-2 in their recent league test against Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC)

With the defeat, Freedom Christian Academy falls to 7-8 on the season. The travel to Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, April 3.
