April 1, 2023: Chicago, IL 60610 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) and the host Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL), saw Lyons's volleyball squad beat Payton College Prep by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Lyons upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 1. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Oak Lawn won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Argo (Summit, IL)
The Grizzlies now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Lane Tech for a Chicago Public Gold bout on Tuesday, April 11. Payton College Prep will play a Lane Tech squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Solorio (Chicago, IL). The Lane Tech record now stands at 7-4.
