The Douglas Tigers softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting James Logan Colts to 1 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Douglas moves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to McQueen (Reno, NV) to encounter the Lancers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. The Lancers enter the test with a record of 6-4. McQueen won 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV)

The Colts (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Alhambra tipped Churchill County (Fallon, NV), 8-5, in a non-league test.
