April 1, 2023: Temecula, CA 92592 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Great Oak Wolfpack (Temecula, CA) and the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), witnessed Great Oak's softball squad tip El Modena by a count of 5-2.
The Wolfpack now sport a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Santiago for a non-league match on Saturday, April 1. Great Oak will face a Sharks squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Sharks record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, El Modena moves to 10-6 on the season. The Vanguards travel to Canyon (Anaheim, CA) to face the Comanches in a Crestview match on Tuesday, April 4. The Comanches go into the match with a record of 9-6. Canyon lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA)
