New Mexico High School Softball - Hozho Academy knocked off by Mesilla Valley Christian School
April 1, 2023: Las Cruces, NM 88001 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Hozho Academy Wolves (Gallup, NM), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Mesilla Valley Christian School moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The SonBlazers host Capitan (Capitan, NM) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 1. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 4-2. Capitan lost 7-6 in their recent non-league contest against Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM)
In their next game, the Wolves play the Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 4. Hozho Academy will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM).
