Louisiana High School Softball - St. Charles Catholic knocked off by Live Oak
April 1, 2023: Watson, LA 70706 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA), by a margin of 11-0.
With the triumph, Live Oak moves its record to 28-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to East Ascension (Gonzales, LA) to clash with the Spartans in a 5A District 5 game on Tuesday, April 4. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 13-13. East Ascension won 15-6 in their recent non-league game against Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA)
In their next game, the Comets clash with the Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) in a 2A District 11 game, on Tuesday, April 4. St. Charles Catholic will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Greenies come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Willow (New Orleans, LA).
