Florida High School Softball - River Ridge bounces Nature Coast Tech

River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Royal Knights now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gulf for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. River Ridge will battle a Buccaneers squad coming off a 19-1 non-league loss to Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Nature Coast Tech falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Citrus (Inverness, FL) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. Citrus won 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against North Marion (Citra, FL)
