North Carolina High School Baseball - Catawba Ridge defeats Marvin Ridge
April 1, 2024: Waxhaw, NC 28173 Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC), 15-8 in a non-league test.
With the win, Catawba Ridge upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Copperheads travel to Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA) to battle the Gators in a non-league test on Thursday, April 4. The Gators come into the test with a record of 7-1. Greenbrier Christian Academy lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC)
With the defeat, Marvin Ridge falls to 8-5 on the season. The Mavericks host Cane Bay (Summerville, SC) to battle the Cobras in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 2. The Cobras come into the test with a record of 1-3.
