Spectators at Monday's league battle between the Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) and the visiting Centaurus Warriors (Lafayette, CO), saw Mead's baseball squad beat Centaurus by a margin of 15-5.

Coming up next, the Mavericks play the Palmer Terrors (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 2. Mead will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Terrors enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 12-7 non-league loss to Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO).

The Warriors now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mead for a 4A/5A NCAC battle on Wednesday, April 3. Centaurus will play a Mavericks squad coming off a 20-0 non-league win over Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO). The Mavericks record now stands at 6-4.
