Illinois High School Lacrosse - Elk Grove drops to Schaumburg
April 1, 2024: Schaumburg, IL 60194 Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), 18-1 in a league test.
The Saxons now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hersey for a Mid Suburban test on Thursday, April 4. Schaumburg will face a Huskies squad coming off a 13-7 non-league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Grenadiers face the Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) in a Mid Suburban test, on Thursday, April 4. Elk Grove will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates come into the test with a 4-0 record after their 14-1 league win over Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL).
