April 1, 2024: Melrose, MA 02176 Melrose Red Raiders (Melrose, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Belmont Marauders (Belmont, MA), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Melrose upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Red Raiders host Winchester (Winchester, MA) to battle the Red & Black in a non-league battle on Monday, April 8. The Red & Black enter the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Marauders now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Watertown for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 3.
