April 1, 2024: Summerville, SC 29485 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) and the host Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC), saw Clover's softball squad nip Ashley Ridge by a count of 8-2.
The Blue Eagles now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Spring Valley for a AAAAA Region 3 match on Tuesday, April 9. Clover will face a Vikings squad coming off a 12-4 league loss to Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Ashley Ridge falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Swamp foxes travel to Summerville (Summerville, SC) to face the Green Wave in a AAAAA Region 7 match on Thursday, April 4. The Green Wave enter the match with a record of 13-0. Summerville won 12-0 in their recent non-league match against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC)
