Missouri High School Softball - Houston bounces Mountain Grove
April 1, 2024: Mountain Grove, MO 65711 Houston Tigers (Houston, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Mountain Grove Panthers (Mountain Grove, MO), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mansfield for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Houston will face a Lions squad coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Fordland (Fordland, MO). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Mountain Grove falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Van Buren (Van Buren, MO) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Van Buren lost 10-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Malden (Malden, MO)
