Kentucky High School Softball - Rowan County can't get by Western Brown
April 1, 2024: Morehead, KY 40351 In Monday's non-league contest, the Western Brown Broncos (Mt. Orab, OH) softball team held off the host Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Western Brown moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Broncos travel to Wilmington (Wilmington, OH) to play the Hurricane in a Southern Buckeye AA - American contest on Wednesday, April 3. The Hurricane come into the contest with a record of 4-1. Wilmington lost 5-3 in their recent league contest against Clinton-Massie (Clarksville, OH)
In their next game, the Vikings play the Edgewood Cougars (Trenton, OH) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 2. Rowan County will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record.
