Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Hopewell edges Ambridge

In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Hopewell Vikings baseball team scored a close 6-4 victory over the Ambridge Bridgers.

The Vikings (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Antelopes enter the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Avonworth held off Steel Valley (Munhall, PA), 11-0, in a league game.

Next, the Bridgers face the West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 2. Ambridge will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 2-3 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Riverside (Ellwood City, PA).
