Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), 8-7 in a league match.

With the triumph, Northwest Cabarrus advances its record to 4-12 on the season. The Trojans travel to South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to battle the Raiders in a South Piedmont 3A match on Tuesday, April 8. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 9-6.

The Mustangs now have a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Stanly for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 2. East Rowan will battle a Colts squad coming off a 12-3 league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Colts record now stands at 10-4.
