The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Friends Select Falcons (Philadelphia, PA) and the visiting Jenkintown Drakes (Jenkintown, PA), saw Friends Select's baseball team gain a win over Jenkintown by a tally of 8-6.

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA). The Lions enter the Friends Schools League battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Academy of the New Church held off Community Academy of Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA), 17-6, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Drakes face the The Christian Academy (Brookhaven, PA) in a Bicentennial - Presidents battle, on Wednesday, April 2. Jenkintown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Gloucester County Christian (Sewell, NJ).
