April 1, 2025: Genoa, IL 60135 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) and the host Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL), saw Marengo's baseball team gain a win over Genoa-Kingston by a tally of 12-0.
The Indians (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies enter the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Harlem prevailed over Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL), 8-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cogs face the Plano Reapers (Plano, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 3. Genoa-Kingston will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Reapers enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to Mendota (Mendota, IL).
