Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN), 6-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, Grainger advances its record to 5-10 on the season. The Grizzlies host Northview Academy (Kodak, TN) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, April 3. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 1-13.

The Falcons now have a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hazard for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 2. Volunteer will battle a Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs record now stands at 7-0.
