The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) and the visiting Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), saw Metea Valley's baseball team gain a win over Larkin by a tally of 7-2.

The Mustangs (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, West Aurora held off Romeoville (Romeoville, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Royals face the Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 2. Larkin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL).
