Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL), 8-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, Nokomis advances its record to 4-5 on the season. The Redskins travel to Gillespie (Gillespie, IL) to battle the Miners in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 2. The Miners come into the match with a record of 3-4. Gillespie won 12-1 in their recent non-league match against Metro-East Lutheran (Edwardsville, IL)
