April 1, 2025: Covington, KY 41015 Calvary Christian Cougars (Covington, KY) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Calvary Christian advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Cougars host Scott (Covington, KY) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-2. Scott lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Ryle (Union, KY)
The Spartans now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bryan Station for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. Sayre will face a Defenders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Defenders record now stands at 0-2.
