April 1, 2025: Oakland, CA 94605 Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Valley Christian improves its record to 7-7 on the season. The Warriors host Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA) to face the Bells in a WCAL test on Thursday, April 3. The Bells go into the test with a record of 8-7. Bellarmine College Prep lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA)
The Dragons now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alameda for a West Alameda County - Foothill test on Wednesday, April 2. Bishop O'Dowd will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 10-8.
