Georgia High School Soccer - Central nudges Temple
April 1, 2025: Carrollton, GA 30116 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) and the visiting Temple Tigers (Temple, GA), saw Central's soccer squad hold off Temple by a count of 4-3.
The Lions (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Chapel Hill tipped Washington (Atlanta, GA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 6 battle, on Friday, April 4. Temple will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cartersville (Cartersville, GA).
