Virginia High School Soccer - Miller School of Albemarle toppled by Virginia Academy
April 1, 2025: Charlottesville, VA 22903 Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA), 9-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Virginia Academy moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Evergreen Christian (Leesburg, VA) to meet the Eagles in a NVIAC test on Wednesday, April 2. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-1. Evergreen Christian 3-3 in their recent non-league test against Immanuel Christian (Springfield, VA)
The Mavericks now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Chatham Hall for a test on Thursday, April 3. Miller School of Albemarle will meet a Turtles team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Salem Academy (Winston-Salem, NC). The Turtles record now stands at 0-2.
