Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers (Steelton, PA), 27-17 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Reading improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Red KNights host Exeter Township (Reading, PA) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 2. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 1-1. Exeter Township lost 15-4 in their recent non-league game against Wilson (West Lawn, PA)

The Steamrollers now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Northern Lebanon for a non-league game on Monday, April 7. Steelton-Highspire will play a Vikings squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Donegal (Mt. Joy, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
