The Hoggard Vikings edged the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle lacrosse team by a tally of 13-12 in Tuesday's league match.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a Mideastern match, on Friday, April 4. Hoggard will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 18-0 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).

The Screaming Eagle (2-6) will now prepare for their match against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars enter the Mideastern match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, South Brunswick North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 6-6, in a league match.
